It may be one week later than usual, but the 2026 PGA Tour season officially gets underway this week at the 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii at Waialae Country Club. The top-ranked player in the field is also the betting favorite this week. Here is everything you need to know about the Sony Open odds and other betting favorites to start the week.
Sony Open betting favorites
Heading into the first PGA Tour event of the season, American Russell Henley finds himself in position as the pre-tournament betting favorite at +1200 odds to win.
Henley earned that spot with a great season in 2025. He won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and added two runner-ups to go along with 10 total top-10 finishes. All that success moved Henley to No. 5 in the Official World Golf Ranking and got him a spot on the 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup team.
The next three players in the Sony Open pre-tournament odds were also on the U.S. Ryder Cup team. They are Ben Griffin (+1600), Collin Morikawa (+2000) and J.J. Spaun (+2000).
The captain of the U.S. Ryder Cup team, Keegan Bradley, comes next at +2200 odds to win. Hideki Matsuyama and Robert MacIntyre are knotted with Bradley at +2200.
You can see the top 20 and ties in the Sony Open betting odds as of Monday morning below, or download the Fanatics Sportsbook app to see the full list of odds and bets for this week.
