To succeed listed here after ten years, after switching expert, it’s an aspiration come to life, as well as it’s unique. I’m regretful, I’m at a reduction for phrases, yet I’m exceptionally satisfied as well as eased.”

It was actually Meronk’s initial succeed on the DP Globe Excursion because 2023, when he gained DP Globe Trip Gamer of the Year prior to leaping to LIV Golf in 2024. Meronk’s final expert succeed came with LIV Riyadh in 2025. Yet it has actually been actually a making an effort year for the 33-year-old coming from Poland. His greatest appearance on LIV was actually a T21 in Virginia. He completed 45th in the season-long factors competition as well as accepted that a making an effort period on the training program possessed him thinking of relaxing coming from an activity that no more liked him back.
“I thought that I’ve resided in an unusual area,” Meronk stated after his succeed, via The Scotsman. “Believed that I participated in very sound golf as well as I couldn’t obtain any sort of end results as well as it was actually really annoying, as well as I was actually obtaining really furious, really depressing often, really dissatisfied. Each week, I thought that I participated in properly as well as only was actually creating absurd blunders as well as completing base of the competition. And also it always kept going with months. To become straightforward, 2 months ago I was actually believing that I may also have actually paused coming from golf. I wasn’t appreciating it as long as I made use of to.”
But as opposed to tipping out of the video game, Meronk stated he tried to manifest what he wanted — a succeed on the DP Globe Trip that will assist him maintain his participating in opportunities for upcoming period as LIV Golf faces an uncertain future. Meronk stated he recorded a publication daily, appreciative for a succeed that will happen.

It states, ‘I’m happy for the payouts of competitions on DP in 2026 as well as Top-20 appearance of the period.’ That’s what I’m creating each and every single time in my note pad. Certainly that aids a great deal, as well as it’s one action in the direction of that target. Yet I carried out point out that, I visualize on my own resting listed here or even basing on 18 along with the prize, as well as it undoubtedly aids. Undoubtedly aids.”

It’s fantastic, as well as it only reveals you to go on going, go on thinking as well as go on functioning. That’s what I carried out, as well as I’m incredibly, incredibly happy for my individuals around me that drive me daily to go on going as well as always keep caring about on my own.”

Certainly this aids me a great deal. So I’m visiting need to re-evaluate my targets, my timetable as well as just how my future will certainly seem like yet this aids a great deal without a doubt.”
